Facebookshowcase.net
This site is just another in a long line of "showcase" or "inspiration" design gallery sites. This one focuses on Facebook Page and tab design. I cannot take credit for the site’s theme: it is a modified version of the Gallery theme by Chris Wallace. I created a new logo, tweaked the design for SEO, changed the thumbnail images size and jQuery hover effects, and did a few other things along those lines. The Gallery theme was a great shortcut for me, allowing me to take this site from conception to finished product in just a few evenings. The site runs on WordPress 2.8. I hope it becomes a popular place for designers and Facebook page owners to show off their custom Tabs as the business importance of Facebook continues to grow!

Powder Blog
This is a new custom 3-column Wordpress 2.7 blog about skiing powder in the Tetons and other related topics. To find out more about the exciting new features in 2.7, check out the screencast over on the Wordpress blog. It uses a very clean and professional 2-column layout I custom designed, building on the Blueprint CSS Framework. PowderBlog is fully SEO optimized with valid and semantic xHTML markup, cross-related articles, duplicate-proofed archives, and more.

Real Estate Composer
The developer’s of the Real Estate Composer software were short on time and after they designed this site in Photoshop they called me up to “slice” it and turn it in to a functional website. I took the PSD files for each page and produced the snappy, standards-compliant code needed to make them “run”. I am available for hire any time you need a design turned into a fast, accessible, SEO-friendly website. This example is a static website, but I also skin Content Management Systems like Wordpress, Drupal and Magento.
Real Estate Composer is slick piece of software for real estate agencies which allows them to easily run and maintain professional looking websites. It provides tools to manage and promote property listings, track sales leads, and much more. Read more about the software over at website, and also check out some sites currently running the software: The Allen Agency and Real Estate of Pinedale

Circle S Seeds
This is a small custom “brochure” website for Circle S Seeds, in Three Forks, MT. It is a re-work of an existing site, updated to reflect a recent print campaign. It is built on the CMS Made Simple platform, a nice lightweight CMS which has fewer features than Drupal but it easier to use. For small website that don’t need a lot of “community” features but still need to be easy to update, I highly recommend CMS Made Simple.
In conjunction with the CircleSSeeds.com website I built a new website for their Grains products, CircleSGrains.com. Both sites run CMS Made Simple and share the same Circle S branding, but are visually differentiated to reflect the separate divisions of the company. Colorado Ski Mountaineering Cup
This is a sister site to the USSMA website, listed below. COSMIC is separate but affiliated with the USSMA, and so the design is similar but distinct. This site actually shares the same Drupal CMS backend, so the administrator can easily add content to either the COMSIC or USSMA websites, without needing to log in to a separate CMS.

United States Ski Mountaineering Association
This is the website for the USSMA, a national non-profit that organizes a series of ski mountaineering races all across the country. It uses the Drupal CMS backend so news and race events can be easily added and updated. Some additional Drupal features are also in use, like a photo gallery and a discussion forum for the ski mountaineering community.

Highland Meadows Homeowners Association
This site is for a Homeowners Association in Teton Valley. It uses the Drupal CMS backend to provide an easy way for the HOA to schedule board meetings, record the minutes of their meetings, comment on design review issues, discuss covenants and restrictions, and much more.

Oronaut.com
This is my personal travel and adventure blog. It runs on the battle-proven Wordpress CMS. Featured in this site design is the custom Wordpress theme, the addition of some handy plugin enhancements (like the photo galleries), and some SEO enhancements.

Rita Designs
This is a site I made for a hand-crafted leather and shearling clothing business in Teton Valley. Rita Designs caters to a sophisticated, high-end client base and we reflect this in the clean, minimal design. Note that even while the fine products of Rita Designs are showcased in attractive slideshows and galleries, accessibility and search engine optimization needs have not been sacrificed by using JavaScript instead of Flash. Chili Pepper Design’s core principles of never putting form before substance stand, but the “form” does not suffer. The best of both worlds. This site is not often updated very often, so it not necessary to implement a CMS backend.

MSU Computer Science Department
As an independent study project my senior year, another MSU student and I worked to give the CS Department web page a Drupal CMS backend. Previously, the site consisted just of “flat” HTML files which had to be edited by hand. This is a slow and difficult process which made it hard to keep the site up to date. Now that they are running Drupal adding new content is a simple task – like writing a quick email!
